"Yoga is not about touching your toes. It's about what you learn on the way down."

My journey with yoga started in Jersey in the Channel Islands many years ago. I saw an advert for ‘Hot Yoga’ and went along.

With just a couple of radiators heating the small room, my yoga journey began! After moving back to the UK, I started practising Ashtanga Yoga until I went to Australia and my sister invited me to join her in a Bikram Class. From that point on I started practising Bikram Hot Yoga regularly and loved the way the sequence made my mind and body feel. The dream was to open our own studio, one day in the future!

Moving forward a few years we made our dream come true and opened Bikram Yoga Fleet in Hampshire. We built a community within Fleet and our studio grew into a yoga centre offering Bikram Hot Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Fusion Yoga, Yin Yoga, Nidra and Meditation.

My classes are suitable for all levels, creating variations to make postures more accessible for beginners or to challenge the more experienced students. I love the balance between Yin and Yang classes: Hot and Flow Yoga being more dynamic and fast paced as opposed to Yin Yoga which is a slower pace, but still challenging.

Yoga is not about the deepest pose but the journey to get there.
